Is it possible to view all the configuration files on the deployment server with SOS app. I have installed the app but I am able to view only the internal configuration files. I am using the deployment server as the master in clustering .

I am getting this warning on my search heads and I have increased my search limit to 30,000 on limits.conf file
[search]
dispatch_dir_warning_size = 30000
Is this going to have any issues ? The default one is 2000

Hi,
Splunkd process running on the indexers in using more RAM memory .
With in last 7 days it has increased the usage from 9.8% to 70% on 20 GB RAM. It is killing the Splunk process after reaching the max. I'm using 5.0.2 Splunk on a linux VM. I'm using a nix app
and the memory by process is this
Resident_MB Virtual_MB Percentage Memory
splunkd 13379.101562 14352.585938 66.6
How to solve the issue ?

I'm trying to set up a alert If I don't see a log message with in 15 minutes span of time.
I extracted a filed from the log message but I'm not sure how to check for the field in real time .
The query i tired is
index= "metering" host="vm10190" sourcetype="ping" | rex "Ping response: (? .)" | search PingMessage="*OK" | bucket _time span=15m | stats count by _time host | where count<1
Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Are there any know issues in using the same machine for Splunk deployment server and Splunk Universal Forwarder ?
Currently when I'm trying to connect to the deployment server from this machine I'm getting the following errors.

I'm getting the following error on my master node. I have configured my clustering before and, currently I'm trying to move my indexes to a different location.
