Thanks Ryan. This helps, but doesn't answer the question. In the page, "Synthetic Hosted Agents" states "The fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) and the range of IP addresses are not currently available." We currently use the REST API's ability to export/import custom rules defined in the APM module for our applications. How do we perform this for EUM based custom rules for Base Pages, AJAX, iFrames, & Virtual Pages?

We use an Internet traffic security provider (i.e. Akamai, Cloudflare, etc...) to monitor our inbound traffic to mitigate and prevent malicious actions against our sites. The tool uses an array of attributes, such as source IP Address, User-Agent, and demographics in its analysis. It also uses its own internal machine learning to flag & alert potential concerns based on known bot types and reputations. We also use End User Experience Synthetics for most of our external facing platforms, to validate availability and functionality. These are run from various AppDynamics hosted sites, not internally hosted. How do we whitelist our synthetics run from AppDynamics hosted sites, to ensure that they are not unintentionally captured and flagged as potential bad actors?

When creating rules, either with Custom Rules in APM or Include/Exclude Rules in EUM, the tool gives the ability to match the URL/URI based on several conditions: Is in List, Starts With, etc... These same options exist in other areas, as well. How can a rule be created that lists values (Is in List) and utilize wildcards in the values? For example (asterisk is wildcard): Is in List /site/portal1*, /site/portal2*

Ryan, the APIs give details about the "All Other Traffic" business transactions (BT), like any other BT...but not what it is being captured and collected into the All Other Traffic BT. When business transactions are locked down or are beyond the agent limit, the controller pushes the traffic to the All Other Traffic BT, which can be seen from "View Traffic Details" view (below). THIS is what we're asking about. How do we get a list of these, especially when there are a large number of them? All Other Traffic Details

What are the functions allowed/disallowed in SELECT queries? Looks like COALESCE is restricted for some reason? "Query validation failed because it has keyword 'COALESCE' that is trying to manipulate DB."

Hi. We are in a similar situation. We have configured our standalone agent config to only utilize the default domain. Without this, the agent registers ~50 new nodes, which we don’t want. When we just utilize the default domain, neither the agent or any business transactions register. We are utilizing the POCO rule, but are unable to apply the tier level agent settings, because the app agents do not register. Are we sure that the default domain handles report executions?

OK. Sounds like we need to update the app agents then. We are still leveraging App Server Agent v4.3.7.1 We will update our agents, and let you know if we are still experiencing issues analyzing the generated dumps. Thanks!

We have several health rules policies for our Java apps which trigger Thread Dump Actions, and we have been able to retreive the generated thread dumps from the SaaS Contoller. However, we are not able to analyze the generated thread dumps. We typically use the IBM Thread and Monitor Dump Analyzer for Java, since our applications run on IBM Websphere. What tools can be used to analyze the AppDynamics generated Java Thread Dumps?

Are there any plans to include process level monitoring in SIM, without the need for the process monitoring extension? The benefit of having this information in the Processes view is being able to easily compare usage to other processes, which might be in the same class (i.e. java). This is harder to display using the Metric browser, which is what the extension would require users to use.
