The best thing to do here would be to put some detail in the release notes for the version - Splunk Admins *should* be checking release notes for apps they upgrade prior to upgrading them, therefore they should see that you have described it as an optional upgrade and thus can make a decision themselves on if to upgrade it or not.  Their justification on upgrading should usually be depending on compatibility, features, bugs and security fixes (for example) - if your new version of the app uses higher versions Splunk Python Libs for example then this might fall into the security fix category rather than new features - detailing this in the release notes will allow the admin to make the correct decision as to how important it is for them to do the upgrade. 🌟 Did this answer help you? If so, please consider: Adding karma to show it was useful Marking it as the solution if it resolved your issue Commenting if you need any clarification Your feedback encourages the volunteers in this community to continue contributing ... I am having same issue. I would like to add other inputs to add account pop-up instead of username/password. Something like client id, secret etc. How can I achieve this? The error messaging here is a little misleading - this actually indicates that the initial token request using your client credentials is not returning successfully. If you have access to utility like Postman, you can test your request and credentials by making a request to the Oauth endpoint specified here: https://community.sailpoint.com/t5/IdentityNow-Wiki/IdentityNow-REST-APIs/ta-p/80132 - this should allow you to see what the error message being returned is, and to understand why the initial request is failing. ...
