Hi,

I've checked the response time for one of our critical Applications, so when i check it in Snapshot Page i used to see response time of an call is 64007 MS as in snapshot A but when i drilldown and check it showing only 29031 MS as in snapshot B.

Is there any mismatch in Response time ?

Could someone please advise.

Regards,

Soundarajan

Hi soundarajan,

It seems like this query is already tracked with the AppDynamics support case in 125627. However, you are referring to a partial snapshot and these snapshots will be captured with some delay because, the Agent will capture them the moment when the transaction gets slow down based on the threshold settings. If you click on the "This is a partial call graph" hyperlink in the snapshot's call-graph at the top, you can see that after how many ms delay this snapshot got captured.

Please refer to the below document links about transaction snapshots and threshold settings.

  1. https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO44/Transaction+Snapshot+Collection
  2. https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO44/Call+Graphs

Thanks,

Venu.
