Dashboard creation.

Hello All,

I am new to AppDynamics. I have task to create dashbaord based on log file placed in a server.

My dashbaord should search for particular key words(error, failure, timeout, etc.) present in a log file and if it find key word then it should display in the dashbaord.

Could you please suggest me how can i build it.

Hello Y,

The use case you are describing would be well addressed by AppDynamics Log Analytics. If you don't have / know this module, you should talk to your AppD sales team in your region.

You can also use this free extension here https://www.appdynamics.com/community/exchange/extension/log-monitoring-extension/

But it will only help you to create a metric representing the number of occurences of your keyword
