Hi @kamlesh_vaghela , I tried the recent solution and it seems to be doing the one level expansion whereas I have the requirement to implement two level expansion. I have tried your previous solution on the same thread and got the two level expansion working. But the problem is, it only works for the first row and that too only once and it does not roll up. For the rest of the rows it only expands to one level.

Hello everyone,
I am currently working with the "row table expansion.js" from the dashboard examples. However, I am facing an issue where I can only achieve a single-level row expansion. My requirement is to have a two-level row expansion instead.

Hello, I have a table on my splunk dashboard. I have a search to get the data and I am using fields to filter out the columns that I want to see on my dashboard. I observed that, even if I filter out a couple of columns to display, I am still able to use the other column data (column c or d from below example) that I am not displaying for other purpose. Below is the format that I am using for a splunk table. <search>
<query>| dbxquery connection=connection query="SELECT a, b, c, d FROM t1"
</query>

<fields>["a", "b"]</fields> Now, I have a requirement to create a custom Splunk table using JavaScript. I was able to do the same but I am not sure how to use the <fields> provided by Splunk in JavaScript. The problem that I observed with JavaScript table is that, If I am not displaying a particular column, I will not be able to use that column data for other operations. I basically want to display just a, b columns from my JavaScript query but at the same time utilize the c, d column data for other operations. Kindly suggest a solution for this.

Thanks for the reply @richgalloway The splunkd_ui_access log that I have only shows my activity. Is it because it is on my local machine? If this is deployed on to the production server, Will I be able to get information of all the users accessing that dashboard with the same splunkd_ui_access log file? Please let me know. Thank you.

Hi,
I would like to show the numbers of users and also the number of unique users visiting a particular dashboard. I want to display these numbers somewhere on the dashboard. I have multiple dashboards and would like to do the same for all the dashboards.
Is there an in-built feature/tool in Splunk that does this? or Is using JavaScript a better option for this?

I have a dashboard with cascading dropdowns which when a value selected in first dropdown populates the second dropdown with values based on the selection made.
For example the first dropdown has values A, B, and C. When A is selected from the first dropdown, the second dropdown should display A1, A2, and A3. Similarly should display B1, B2, B3 and C1, C2, C3 respectively.
My dashboard is populating the dropdown correctly. I am unsetting the second dropdown tokens when the first dropdown changes, to make sure the second dropdown do not contain previous token value. But this is causing me an issue while page reload. When the page is refreshed, the second dropdown token gets unset like shown below.

If I do not unset the second dropdown tokens when the first dropdown changes, the second drop down shows the previous selected token as shown below.
