Hi
We are using Vmware carbon black cloud app and the vmware logs are pulled from AWS s3 buckets. The index is having logs. However, the dashboards of the app when configured with same index is not working. Please help remediate.

Hi,
When I run a search against an index in smart/verbose mode, I am getting the below error with zero results,
"Some events were removed by Timeliner because they were missing _time"
However, when the same query is run in fast mode I am seeing results. Is there anything wrong with the time of the logs coming in? How should I fix this?

@aplura_llc_supp , We had used Getwatchlist add-on on on-premise environment. Recently we have migrated to cloud. However, this add-on does not have supporting version for Cloud 8.2X. Is there an add-on that supports this version of cloud?

Can you please help me understand if Google Workspace Add-on equivalent update for G suite for Splunk add-on? Because, we used g suite earlier, after seeing that the app had been updated we installed and configured Google Workspaces. But, sourcetypes and the way events are parsed are not similar to gsuite.

@araitz , My question is similar to the above but I would like to know what happens to logging in below scenarios when there is an outage. I would like to know if splunk restores logging when the systems are out of outage or does it lose the logs. 1. logs are getting forwarded from an app 2. synced from an S3 bucket 3. pulled via API 4. data coming through heavy forwarder Thanks in Advance

Hi Splunkers, I am integrating Jamf pro logs to splunk using Jamf Pro Add-on for Splunk (https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/4729/). I have defined the inputs as per the documentation. However, I am not getting logs on indexer. I can see below errors in splunkd.log and jamf_pro_addon_for_splunk_jamfcomputers.log. Any suggestions regarding this will be greatly appreciated. @richgalloway , thanks for the suggestions. Here is my observations, In MC's Scheduler Activity, I see that it issue is present only on one of the three search heads in cluster. Many Reports are skipped and deferred with following reason, "The maximum number of concurrent running jobs for this historical scheduled search on this cluster has been reached (4)" Do I have to modify limits.conf ? Why is this issue seen only one one search head in the cluster? Thanks

Hi Splunkers, I am getting below error on Clustered Search heard, "The percentage of non high priority searches delayed (88%) over the last 24 hours is very high and exceeded the red thresholds (20%) on this Splunk instance. Total Searches that were part of this percentage=1615. Total delayed Searches=1430" This issue is particularly seen on one app whose index receives large amount of data. How do I fix this issue?
