I'd simply say don't go down this path. sendemail.py is quite well written but a bit confusing for a non-experienced pythoneer. So you'll put a lot of effort for just one use-case. Additionally you'll get stuck with something you'll have to maintain yourself (what if there are updates to the main sendemail.py? What if there are security fixes? Will you backport those?).

First of all thanks to @ITWhisperer for the prompt responses but unfortunately the solution that you shared will not work in my use case. I find the solution from my own. What I did is just to take the ip in cmdb as null for windows because we can've multiple ips for windows workstations for the same host so that's why I don't want to use cmdb ip address to join with qualys ip address for windows, only want to use cmdb hostname to join with qualys hostname. Right, it's a workaround and does reload the dash, but it will clear the tokens as long as link back to the base of the app and include no arguments in your link. See below. Example where I used this in one of my dashboards.

Hello, The solution you provided to me is working well over my local environment (time zone is IST). I am successfully able to get the previous date wrt what is selected in the time picker. You will have to re-phrase your question in order to more clearly indicate what you're trying to accomplish. What information are you ingesting in Splunk? How is your lookup being created? Where does the data come from? What is the field that ties the search results to data in the lookup?
