.Net agent connectivity issue

HI Team,

We are working on one AppDynamics POC for one the application of our clients. We have created a account and using the AppDynamics environment. We are blocked due to connectivity issues where we are not able to proceed further. Could you please connect us immediately so that issues gets fixed and we go for purchasing the license. Please reach us ASAP.

Hi Kiran,

Sorry for the latest response.

If you are still facing the same issue then please provide us the below details to investigate this issue further.

  1. Upload the latest zip of DotNetAgent folder to the following location https://appdynamics.egnyte.com/ul/2TVrdOrMls
  2. Screen capture of the Test Controller connection from the AppDynamics Agent Configuration wizard.
  3. Screen capture of the Telnet <Controller Host> <Port> command output
  4. Screen capture of the Internet Explorer browing the Controller from the problematic Agent server.
  5. Screen capture of the  tracert <Controller Host> command.

Hi Kiran,

  1. Can you please run the Agent configuration wizard on the Agent machine machine where are are facing issue and test the connection between Agent and controller.If you face any issue can you please provide us the screenshot of the error that you are getting.
  2. Kindly verify and confirm, if you are able to browse the controller URL using IE browser on the agent machine where you are facing issue ?
  3. Kindly verify and confirm if you are able to do telnet to the controller on specified port by using following command. telnet <controller name> <port>

Yes, we are able to browse the controller URL from IE browser.

Yes, we are able to do a telnet with port.

Note: We are using controller, agent and the .Net application in same server.
