Is the web interface of the splunk instance on PC1 activated? What kind of splunk environment are you using, i.e. what are PC1 and PC2 - indexers, universal forwarders?

That didn't answer the question. Is PC1 running a universal forwarder or a full splunk install? It has to be a full splunk install, and the web interface has to be enabled.

Please use 192.168.18.4:8000 in your browser considering this is IP address of PC2.
