Hi,

I am new to Appdynamics ,can you please explain me how to map an agent in the controller.

I have installed On-Premise trial controller and configured Java agent in jboss server and restarted the server.

Now in the controller I am not able to see the app server agents. Let me know if i need to do any configurations.

Regards,

Haritha

Hi Haritha,

We see below message in logs but would like to check the behavior with manually provided app, tier and node details, if you do not see any application in controller UI associated

[AD Thread Pool-Global1] 10 Apr 2015 01:39:23,062  INFO SelfServiceNameResolver - Generated node name is JBoss@GIS03854:8009

Can you provide values for xml element application-name, tier-name, node-name in file controller-info.xml at path /app/AppDynamics/javaAgent/ver4.0.4.0/conf/ and see how it goes after saving changes and restarting jvm?

Regards,

Arun
