Splunk Add-on for Check Point OPSEC LEA Connections page unable to load

I have recently installed Splunk Add-on for Check Point OPSEC LEA on to a Linux machine, however when I open the app the manage connections and create connections pages doesn't load. Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Appearently the proxy settings were causing some problems, after disabling the proxy settings the page loaded without any issues
