Is the Splunk ODBC "deployment" compatible with Splunk Cloud?

For example, following this guide. Would it be possible to setup a cloud instance instead of a local/Enterprise URL?

According to the app's splunkbase page, "Versions 3.0.x and higher can connect to both Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Cloud versions 7.3 and higher" so, yes, it is compatible with Splunk Cloud.
