DB connect permissions issue

Hi,

we have started to get the following errors on what was a working version of DB connect v 3.4.2. Would appreciate any help figuring out how to resolve this.

 

Unable to initialize modular input "server" defined in the app "splunk_app_db_connect": Introspecting scheme=server: Unable to run "/opt/splunk/etc/apps/splunk_app_db_connect/linux_x86_64/bin/server.sh --scheme": child failed to start: Permission denied.

Check that Splunk is still running under the expected user account and that etc/apps/splunk_app_db_connect file ownership and permissions have not changed.

Thanks, yep Splunk was running under the expected account. Compared the permissions for splunk_app_db_connect/linux_x86_64/bin against another working version and they were different. changed it to 700 and seems to have come back working fine.
