Maybe you could write it down on Splunk Base or in your app UI ? Because I added your app a loooong time ago, and we are used to set visibility to false to many apps we don't use, so I thought it was that !

I have re-installed twice the app, even re-downloaded it, and it is the same.
First, the app is not visible by default.
When I set it visible and I launch it, I reach what you see in the screenshot.
Maybe have I missed something ?

Hello,
When I download the Region Chart Viz from SplunkBase ( app/4911 ) and install it on my Splunk instance, I get a pseudo-CustomViz app called "Region Chart Viz" but :
- It prompts directly because the app name is wrong
- The Region Chart is not even in the app examples
So I guess that the compilation has messed up at a point.
Am I wrong ?

Hello,
In my dashboard, I added many dropdownviews with JS and they are interacting with each other.
Now, I want to add the value selected in the Window's URL for the user to stay in this state when he will refresh the browser page.
So I tried :
mvc.Components.getInstance("url").set("my_key", "my_value");
which isn't working. I mean, in the mvc model, the URL token group has been edited, but it didn't display in the URL.
After some tries around, I have noticed that when one more dropdown is added manually and associated to a token, and when it changes (and so the URL), the token "my_key" is pushed in the URL! So I guess that the native dropdown does something on the "onChange" to push the key in the URL.
I've tried randomly many functions in the "url" component prototypes (encode, validate, fetch, ...) but none of them seem to work, and the documentation about this is more than light.
Can someone help me with this please ?

Yes, it's a great idea, but I wanted to check first if there wasn' t a "best practice" way to do it, in order to produce a code more maintainable, in vain apparently !

It is, but what I didn't mention is that I'm using the Search Manager from the JS framework !
So I didn't thought to check the XML properties first, and thanks to you I realized that almost the same properties are included in the SearchManager (by looking in the JS attributes of the search), but are not in the documentation.
But it seems that it's not working, even with the refreshtype : interval, my searches are still triggering the refresh time when they are done... Maybe it is not implemented yet ?

Hello,
For front purposes (I'm building a dashboard using the JS framework), I want to synchronize all my searches so that they start at the same time.
But the refresh countdown seems to start when a search GET the results, so if it takes longer, it is delayed from the other searches of the dashboard (which have the same refresh time though).
=> Do you know if there is a simple way to make searches start at the very same time (I don't care if they get results at different time) ? Or do I have to use JS timers ?
