Hi @mm185429 were you able to find the solution, I too facing the issue the same but mine is a Splunk report we have custom alert action for mailing purpose and made it pull mail contacts from a lookup and lookup contained two DLs. I re-run the report with my email it received once only for now I have cloned the report and ask user to check if they are receiving again since the actual report should once a day. I checked in the intenal logs can see two mail were sent out at same time but there is only one report which is scheduled to run once a day.

Hi All We have a requirement where user needs to send mail a dashboard periodically. The Dashboard is made using Dashboard studio so the Export is available, I configured the export option and sent a mail but the PDF output showing no data on individual panels, it gives the output while the panel are searching for the result. The dashboard has time picker in it, no matter which value I set it ( last 4 hours to last 30 days) the result is same. Has anybody faced the issue similarly, have any workaround is there for this. Please help.

Hi @livehybrid I checked with the query and it worked, I made little change to display DD:MM:YYYY HH:MM:SS using below query and it worked as expected. Hi All We got this requirement to print the timestamp in mail subject for scheduled report. the timestamp should indicate the time it got sent. for exg, the report runs twice a day so if it runs 6 am and 6 pm, the mail subject should indicate dd-mm-yyyy 06:00:00 or 18:00:00 Please help.

Cased a case with Splunk, they acknowledged it and replied that they are aware of it and it a limitation which will be fix in upcoming release since it requires code level changes and there is not workaround for it for now.

There is option export the dashboard where the details are clear and legible. One thing i noticed is, the size difference between both instant download and scheduled one where the scheduled one is less in sixe (almost half ), looks like the pdf/png is getting compressed while sending to mail. the only solution I can come up with is to split the dashboard into 2 and schedule it. edit: above action still gave same results. If anyone has any idea beside it, please share.

Hi folks I am trying to schedule a dashboard to send mail with its details periodically, I can able to do it but the output is not that legible i.e the attachment either .pdf or .pmg format is blurry when zoomed in at slightest to view the readable things like table data, graph points and so on. the Dashboard contains multiple panel like table,bar graph, pie chat and different kinds of graph as well. does increasing font size of the data helps? I dont want to alter the dashboard and make a mess unless it will surely solve the matter. I am not very good at dashboarding and new to Splunk as well. Please advise
