as already mentioned, it's a broad question. by definition, integration is the process of bringing together the component sub-systems into one system. so you'll link(connect) splunk with other systems (like snow, jira sm, bmc, and others). that's at least what we do. depends on the use case. for our last customer, we integrated splunk with datadog via an external tool. it took few steps & happened in no time. ... yep, it can be integrated.  it's mostly used for events/incidents. look at the docs here: Configure ServiceNow to integrate with the Splunk platform - Splunk Documentation for further details (+ there are also video tutorials). I've used it, worked perfectly. in case you seek additional help (an external one) - there are plenty of tools available on the market to connect the systems. tools like trayio and zigiosp can help you, too. yes, we do extract/transfer data in between the two systems. we use third-party tools for this. it makes our lives less complicated and less messy. i know trayio has a connector for that. but we use zigiops. works in both directions. clients are happy with the final result and more specifically - with less time spent on establishing the connection. ...
