The error message says the SQL server is not responding.  Have you verified connectivity from Splunk to the SQL server?  Have you checked the DBX logs ($SPLUNK_HOME/var/log/splunk/splunk_app_db_connect*) for more information?  Do you have the right driver installed? ... View more
