Is there a command that could be used for auto refreshing the log? Because right now, I am reloading the page every 2-5sec or mins to monitor the app.

In my log i can see 3 or more java.lang.Exception at per event time but i want to pick only one - currently Splunk highlights them - I have been using rex as well but i think something is not correct .

the mongodb JSON you are consuming for id1,2 & 3 are they in the same index? Yes.

SPlunk has retention period and allocated storage as. ..there are fields called max-daily usages, etc ...yes i lost data otherwise i would not raise this question....
Max-daily usage is 5GB if you go above that then u will lose data..i'm about sure about Splunk version
