Hi All Thank you for replaying Im the PI system admin the customer did the SPLUNK installation etc. we followed the pre-requisite and installation guide. it is really not clearly written in it that in the AF server DB (configuration) under the webapi element there is an attribute name authentication where you should change to BASIC After several hours we figured that and then establish connection and saw the DATA Archive server in the list. ... Hello i have a PI data archive server(PI 2017 R2) with PI+AF and PIVISION installed that is working OK (PIWEBAPI of course is installed and the PI web crawler) I can do web API search for tag pi from the splunk server via piwebapi cmd's. i can even navigate to PIVISION from the SPLUNK server and do search for pi tags and see data !! But the configuration of the SPLUNK where you specify the license and the PI server and port for the piwebapi (saved) does not show me the list of PI servers (or AF) so basically i cannot proceed from that step with the SPLUNK configuration Any suggestions ?
