I want output csv like this "splunkuserid_data.csv" automatically. For example: admin_17_05_16_09_07_58.csv I tried this search: my search | outputcsv [| stats count | addinfo | eval filename=strftime(now(), "filename_%d_%m_%y_%H_%M_%S") | return $filename ] I know how to get get the current Splunk user id with |rest /services/authentication/current-context splunk_server=local | fields username , but I don't know how to include the Splunk user id in the CSV file name Does anyone have an idea?

hi after adding "SplunkMint.framework" in my xcode environment , occur error like "Multiple metohds named 'tag' found with mismached result, parameter type or attributes" error point as below in my code -(void) action :(id) sender { NSInteger n = [sender tag]; } how can I solve this problem ?

As you see in the image below, my customer wants to change the "splunk-paginator" to the top center instead of the bottom right. Is it possible?

Environment Splunk version: 6.3.0 Splunk DB Connect version: 2.0.5 Java version: Oracle Java 1.8.0_60 OS: Redhat Linux Database: Oracle 10g As you see above, my customer is using Oracle 10g. My questions 1) Is it possible for "DB Connect 2.0.5" to use "oracle 10g" ? 2) If so, I cannot find official documentation on this from the URL below http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DBX/2.0.5/DeployDBX/Supporteddatabases 3) If not, can Splunk not guarantee DB Connect 2.0.5 will work with Oracle 10g officially?

<customer requirement> 1. System admin of Splunk creates "testuser" and password has to be set as default (changeme) 2. testuser accesses Splunk Web (http://10.10.10.10.:8000) and then he will see "are you first login user please change your password" <my step> So I tried to create testuser on Splunk SDK for Java as follows: String username = "testuser"; User user = service.getUsers().create(username); But this exception occurs: com.splunk.HttpException http400 - in handler 'users' : the following required arguments are missing: password Are there people who have solved this issue? Please recommend what I should do as soon as possible.

hi I'm trying to use Splunk Hadoop Connect to get data. I followed these steps: 1) install hadoop app 2) connect hadoop namenode 3) click "explore" on configure menu 4) click "data input" and I can set resource name, sourcetype , localhost , index but I can't find "configuring timestamp" Hadoop data has RDBMS structure, so I have to set the "DATE" field set as timestamp please expert answer
