log starts with the timestamp but there are time in between which specifies some time point or earlier event happened time etc, splunk will read in between time and take those events as separate events
so give some prefixes for timestamps

something related to this, but i my transaction uses startwith and endswith, i need tables in expanded form, now they are displaying as if i used list() ot values() i want it to be exactly like a normal table... any thoughts????

Hi,
I have a search using transaction command
mysearch | transaction startswith=start endswith=end
and I am getting several events as one event, i would like those events to be displayed in a table.
Is it possible to do so??

you should extract the fields separately and display all the fields except the type field and try transposing the result.. i mean avoid type field in table ..

transpose other fields and rename columns as A,B .
for example
your search |table field1_name field2_name |transpose |rename row1 as A etc...

Hi,
i have 14 panels in a vew and 5 of them have subsearches, and all these panels are single value panels . i am getting search queued error when the search is loading.. For a single user it is showing this error and what will be the situation if more than one user is accessing it.
I have tried istalling the same in a 2 Quad server. still the message persists ..

i mean a field to be clickable for e.g. the admin field in the sample shown should be a clickable link and it should lead to an external link.. Is it possible? i dont want it be in a triangular dropdown next to the events viewer.

hi,
can i provide external link to the events link in flashtimeline? let's say my events are listing in eventsviewer part of flashtimeline like
splunktimestamp mytimestamp :severity:msgcode:logdetails...
Can i provide a link to the field logdetails which lead to a google search or something external

i have installed 2 splunk instances in the same VM.. and it have 2 cpu cores. Eve if i am using one instance at a time, the very first search itself is giving this message and it is slowing down my searches..
is this a splunk bug, or do i have to look into any of my configs? i went through limits.conf as well i didn't find anything wrong there also..

my splunk app is under testing and i am using a Virtual machine for the same. i have 2 cpu cores .. i tried changing the default values in authorize.conf.
