db connect and user roles

Hi, Is is possible for a user other than admin, power user for example, to setup database connections, databases lookups and inputs. I have used default.meta and local.meta settings but a power user can create connections, lookups and etc. only with the admin_all_objects capability.

The Splunk DB Connect docs say to sign on as an admin to add or manage database connections. I take that to mean non-admin users cannot perform those functions.

Docs require admin login for database connections. For lookups and inputs, docs say "Log in to Splunk Web" but is not explicitly required login as admin user...
