Splunk mobile access server is marked as legacy in the documentation, what is the alternative?

Solution

The new version of Splunk Mobile Access does not require the Mobile Access Server. You can use the latest version of the app without it.

There is now an add-on that you can install if you want to:

Use single sign-on (SSO) credentials to log in to the app on a mobile device.
Control which apps, dashboards, and reports appear to users on a mobile device.
Troubleshoot issues that users might have when accessing a Splunk platform instance from a mobile device.
