How to access Splunk web without port

Now im accessing Splunk web using
https://splunk.company.com:8000/

I would like to access it without entering the port
https://splunk.company.com/

Can we set this in splunk configuration . Is it possible?

Sure you can. You just need to change the Splunk Web Port. You can follow one refer to this doc: https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Admin/Changedefaultvalues#Change_network_ports

You could configure Splunk to listen on port 80 or 443, but that requires running Splunk as root, which is strongly discouraged.

Your best option probably is to use a proxy or other network device to map port 80 to port 8000.
