Splunk Search

Dashboard Permissions

I have created several dashboards and searches as administrator but my end users are unable to view the panels as they display "no results found". I changed the permissions to the dashboard so everyone should be able to see them without any luck. What settings have to be changed so they can see the content?

Has this ever been fixed?

Along these lines, I've found that:
1. Ensure the Sharing permissions are set properly for the dashboard (not private).
2. Permissions on each visualization (search) need to be set correctly (not private) -- I set to "all apps".
3. Also, ensure the permissions on any field extracts used are set properly.

I've also read in other posts that you need to create an app, and assign this to that app... but then, I haven't gotten any of this to work either...
