Hi!

I would like to ask question regarding to Splunk 6.

Is it possible to use the configuration files(search.conf , etct) used in Splunk v5.0.4?

Thanks,
Yu Watanabe

Oh yes, definitely. Nothing has changed regarding that, just that 6.0 introduces even more ways to deal with things through the web interface. It still all goes into the same config files, though.
