SSL certificate

Hello,

I am responsible for providing self-signed SSL certificates for Splunk servers. Could you guide me, considering that I am working in a distributed architecture consisting of SH, 2 INDEXERS plus a server handling DS, and forwarders? How many certificates will I need to generate, and do the forwarders also require SSL certificates?

If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide any relevant documentation to assist me in this process.
