Licence reset

Hi Guys,

I noticed the message " Error in 'litsearch' command: Your Splunk Light license expired or you have exceeded your license limit too many times" in the web UI, and it looks like a server had gone nuts. I've since corrected the issue so the data flow is at the normal level.

Will the licence automatically reset after a period of time?

Thank you in advance.

Splunk Light licensing runs on a 30-day rolling window, so it'll self-heal once you're below five violations in said window. https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/SplunkLight/6.6.2/Installation/Aboutlicensing

Depending on your support status, you can ask support for a reset key to enable search again.

Great, thank you; I'll leave it to it, then!
