How to decrease width only one column in a table?

I have 3 columns that I'm using.
URL, website, count.
The URL is too large and I would like to reduce just the size it keeping all the words.
I tried using the following command in the code but it didn't work:

  },
  "options": {
    "columnFormat": {
      "URL": {
        "width": 100

You may be able to do that using CSS.  The Splunk Dashboard Examples app (https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1603) has an example.
