SQL Server Integration services

Hi There! I have searched and Googled, hoping for the best 😉

Is there perhaps an extension or method to monitor SSIS in AppD? I've searched and googled but no joy.

SSIS, Sql Server Integration Service is running in MsDtsSrvr.exe. This is a managed executable and .net agent can load into the process, but most of the work is done via unmanaged COM components and no useful transactional data can be captured.
What we can do is capture process level metrics and metrics exposed via windows performance counters. The best you can do for SSIS is to monitor exposed performance counters.

You can check the following link for details about exposed counters:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/integration-services/performance/performance-counters

Hello,

Since there was no reply about this working. I would suggest creating an Idea Exchange post about this.

The Idea Exchange is where customers can share feature request ideas.

Please read the submission guidelinesIdea Exchange Submission Guidelines

https://community.appdynamics.com/t5/Idea-Exchange/idb-p/ideas

Note: Idea Exchange is not accessible to AppD Trial or Lite users
