How to attach a document in http request template?

Hi Team,

Since we don't have direct integration with remedy, we are using an HTTP request template to integrate remedy with AppDynamics.

We have requirement here that, we would like to attach a runbook for each action triggered while creating a ticket with remedy. I don't find any option to attach documents in the HTTP request template.

Any idea how can we achieve this??

Hi Harikrishna

I believe a better solution to this would be to create a document store(if you don't already have one) and add the link to the runbook in the alert itself.

That way when a user gets the notification he can just click on the link to access the runbook in OneDrive, SharePoint etc.

Reason for this is to have a master source of the documents/runbooks, which you can update without updating the health rules every time a document is updated.

Thanks
