Database agent custom metric issues

Hello,

I setup DB agent and connect it with AppDynamics controller and everything works fine. But, I needed to create custom metrics based on MySQL query. According to https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO43/Configuring+Custom+Metrics I have created custom metrics but it didn't appear in Metrics Browser and in agent logs I found this issue (Screenshot attached). Error logs shows that "No database selected" but I selected tight database from dropdown menu. (Screenshot 2 attached.)

Can somebody help to solve this issue, please?

Hi ,

Could you please prefix the database name followed by a dot in front of every table. E.g. if the table name is ‘user’ and this table is in the ‘controller’ database, then, they should use ‘controller.user’ instead of just ‘user’. Please check if it resolves the issue.

Thanks,

Atyuha
