DB2 agent connection

Hello,

I have a question.

Is some driver necessary to connect the database agent with DB2 database?

My agent is on a windows server and has communication with E-series Server where the Database is.

Thanks.

Regards,

Hello Jeyfer,
Thanks for posting to the AppDynamics Community.
Driver is not necessary because it is bundled with Database agent, but you need
  • Java above 1.8 version
  • network access to the database from the server agent runs
  • DB2 version with 9.x, 10.x, or 11.x
  • SYSMON authority and connection privileges to the monitoring user for DB2.
Please see below documents for details.
Best Regards,
Hiroki
