Hi AppDynamics,

We are trying to understand the meaning of calls as we tried to instrument a dev application and test a transaction.  Initially we got 28 calls in the load but as checking with the Business Transactions the Calls are not matching the calls on the Application Level Graph. Please see below screenshots for your reference.

Also noticed that there are 160 calls as shown on the screenshot (160 calls.png). Would just like to clarify how we can know the meaning of this calls.

Thank you,

Cymond

Hi Cymond,

From the screenshot 160 calls.png we can see that the tier level call is 28 calls/min and exit call is  160calls/min. There can be multiple Exit calls against one tier level call. So, the number of exit call is more than the BT level call. We can see the tier level is showing 28 calls which is the sum of all the BTs under the tier.

Thanks,

Atyuha Pal

Hi!

However, a business transaction screenshot is also showing 24 calls only (not 28). What might be the reason for it?

Hi @Gaurav.Gupta,

Can you provide more detail (your own screen shot - be sure you blur or remove any sensitive data from the screenshot if there is any).
