Solved: role creation with very specific capabilities

Is it possible to create a role that will allow a user to execute saved searches only through the REST API? The user should not be able to log into the GUI and should not be able to run ad hoc queries, only execute saved searches.

I don't think this is possible, but it is a good enhancement request.
