TA for XenServer log errors

The TA-XS60-Server.log has tons of errors in it and nothing is showing on the dashboard.
Anyone have an idea on how to get this to work?
Here is one of the errors:

2012-10-07 15:52:03,990 - ERROR - ['Traceback (most recent call last):\n', ' File "/opt/splunk/etc/apps/TA-XS60-Server/bin/getVBD.py", line 46, in \n out += \' vbd_metrics_uuid="%s"\' % (xsUtils.xsSession.xenapi.VBD_metrics.get_uuid(vbdRecord["metrics"]))\n', ' File "/opt/splunk/etc/apps/TA-XS60-Server/bin/XenAPI.py", line 229, in call\n return self.send(self.name, args)\n', ' File "/opt/splunk/etc/apps/TA-XS60-Server/bin/XenAPI.py", line 133, in xenapi_request\n result = _parse_result(getattr(self, methodname)(*full_params))\n', ' File "/opt/splunk/etc/apps/TA-XS60-Server/bin/XenAPI.py", line 203, in _parse_result\n raise Failure(result[\'ErrorDescription\'])\n', "Failure: ['HANDLE_INVALID', 'VBD_metrics', 'OpaqueRef:084502de-92d0-5393-6e63-2ac43a8f03af']\n"]

okay after some investication i voked out that you can't use a universal forwarder with phyton scripts!!

Read the note below:
Scripted inputs and Python
Full Splunk comes bundled with Python. The universal forwarder does not. Therefore, if you're currently using scripted inputs with Python and you want to use those scripts with the universal forwarder, you must first install your own version of Python. If you have been using calls specific to Splunk's Python libraries, you cannot do so with the universal forwarder, since those libraries exist only in full Splunk. You may use other scripting languages for scripted inputs with the universal forwarder if they are otherwise supported on the target host (for example, Powershell on Windows Server 2008.)

Now i must find out which forwarder is needed????

i've the same problem, after installing some of the pyton files are running without an error other like an easy one getMessage.py doesn't work.

I've installed the forwarder 5.x on Windows2008R2 64bit with pyton 2.7.3.amd64

i also run some files with the pyton manual

i guess it's maybe a version problem

Which type of OS is the TA installed on?

Also, as a FYI, a new version of the TA and dashboards will be out next week.

What happens when you run the python scripts directly (note: you will need to set your SPLUNK_HOME environment before doing this)?

If the scripts produce output, then there is something going on with the forwarding.
