I am having Splunk self serviced cloud deployment whose licence is getting expired on 2nd Feb 2020 but when i am loading the dashboard it shows an error message- "Error in 'litsearch' command: Your Splunk license expired or you have exceeded your license limit too many times. Renew your Splunk license by visiting www.splunk.com/store or calling 866.GET.SPLUNK."
Please help me in resolving this error as it is very urgent.
Call Splunk support and have them help you clear the license error.
Since your license doesn't expire for another 30 days, we have to assume the message is because you've exceeded your license limit too many times. There are two ways to correct that: 1) wait 30 days for the violation to reset itself; or 2) call Splunk and ask for a reset key.
Have you checked the cloud monitoring dashboard to check your license limit as it sounds like for your license amount you have been going over for too long and they have now suspended it? Best to call Splunk customer support/sales team as this will be controlled by them and they should be able to reinstate temporarily.
