THose are very old apps. You should try-out the new one
Just download and upload via your SPlunk UI or extract them into $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps directory and restart Splunk

thanks I was able to download the files from
For SPLUNK 4.1: https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/285/
For SPLUNK 5: https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1265/#/documentation
SPLUNK 6 Dashboard Example: https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1603/

This documentation for SPLUNK 6 was very useful for me to get the ball rolling: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.2.0/Viz/BuildandeditdashboardswithSimplifiedXML

Hi,

You need to extract the files. and copy the files into your splunk/etc/apps folder.
After this restart you splunk.
You can find this app in your splunk home page.
