Hi

I want to install Nmon but can't figureout how .

NMON Performance Monitor for Unix and Linux Systems | Splunkbase

this is simple senario:

1-splunk server 192.168.1.1 (Nmon already installed)

2-linux server 192.168.1.2 (forwarder already installed)

AFAIK i shoud extract Nmon in this path /opt/splunkforwarder/etc/apps/ on 192.168.1.2

You might want to look at the metricator app. You want the TA on forwarders https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/3948/

Metricator uses metrics and is the newer version of the app

Thank you I remove legecy Nmon and install Metricator on linux server 192.168.1.2 in this path /opt/splunkforwarder/etc/apps/

and create nmon index. and restart forwarder service.

Now work perfectly.

Thanks
