Do I need to reboot the server after I install Splunk agent??
I have few servers which doesn't have agent installed now i want to install the agent on those servers. will it ask me for reboot??? Yes or NO...
The Splunk Universal Forwarder does not require a reboot.
After installing the splunk agent in the servers, the server will not ask for reboot. Right???
If you mean on Windows and Linux workstations, this is correct in regards to the Universal Forwarder. For the Heavy Forwarder, it should be the same, but cant confirm for windows.
