If you stopped by the Builder Bar at .conf25 this year, thank you! The retro tech beer garden vibes were alive and well, and we had a blast connecting with Splunk developers, app builders, and innovators of all types.
Whether you came to troubleshoot, explore new tools, connect with peers, or just play a round of giant foosball, this year’s Builder Bar delivered on its promise: a place where devs could unplug from the hustle, get hands-on with the latest Splunk capabilities, and brew up new ideas together.
Highlights from the Builder Bar
Here’s what went down inside the Pavilion:
- Splunk Developer Program: We launched the Splunk Developer Program and invited attendees to register for access to a cloud stack, dev license, SDKs, APIs, dedicated support, and much more.
- “Ask the Experts” Bar: The Developer Advisory and Support (DAS) team fielded your technical questions, proving that sometimes the best fix comes with expert guidance (and maybe a drink in hand).
- Wall of Heroes: Our Developer Spotlights wall celebrated community members who are pushing the boundaries with Splunk. It became a source of inspiration and a reminder of the innovation happening across the ecosystem.
- New Developer Tooling Demos: Developers got a first-hand look at Splunk’s latest toolkits, SDKs, frameworks, and integrations and how these tools can help you build smarter and faster.
- Prizes, yard games, and drinks: Raspberry Pi kits and mini Pac-Man arcades were hot commodities! From foosball face-offs to catch-ups over a kombucha, the open, beer-garden-style space gave attendees a chance to relax, recharge, and network with fellow devs.
Developer Sessions That Packed the Room
The Builder Bar wasn’t the only place for devs to shine – 19 developer sessions and workshops gave builders the chance to dive deep into everything from AI agents and app frameworks to SOAR SDKs and the new VS Code extension. Attendees walked away with fresh skills, fresh ideas, and fresh connections.

What stood out most to me was our incredible community of enthusiastic developers. You showed up ready to share, collaborate, and challenge each other. We heard incredible feedback on new dev tools, sparked conversations that will influence future product roadmaps, and saw first-hand how strong and creative the Splunk developer ecosystem continues to be.
