Using splunk to monitor Microsoft sql server backups.

Hello, I am looking into using splunk to monitor sql server backups, can the splunk app for SQL do this?, can’t see the source type in the release notes.

Most apps are not good about documenting their sourcetype, but one can always download the app and look inside the props.conf file.  You don't have to install the app.
