Should we be adding a restart flag to the Splunk "Patching app"?

I noticed this app didn't have the restart flag, should we be adding this in order to restart all our universal forwarders?

As mentioned in the document, you do not need the restart of the Splunk services once the patch is done.

Restarting is not necessary.
