Can reports be scheduled on Indexers ?

Hi,

In general , I want to understand pros and cons of scheduling reports on Indexers ? If the reports are on Indexers , wont tht data be pulled on by Search heard ?

I have a summary index report which runs on search head and forwards data to Indexer, I want to cut over head on SH and schedule this report on Indexer and let the filtered summary index be picked by Search head . I it possible?

Reports cannot be scheduled on indexers. It's search heads that run searches - they tell the indexers what to search for and then collate the results. In many cases, indexers can only do part of a search and the search head must do the rest.
