I want to learn about how to make queries in Splunk and how to create dashboards. Please help me with the best sources from where I can learn this efficiently.

Splunk used to run a free training course called "Fundamentals 1" which has now been split into 2 (free) training modules which I would recommend:

1. Intro to Splunk
2. Using Fields

The following resources are also great to get started:

• Splunk .conf Recordings - Conf sessions
• Download Splunk - Run it locally to get some practice
• Upcoming Events - Webinars and In-Person events
• Free Hands-on workshops (EMEA Region) - Splunk4Rookies is a great start!
