Splunk has documentation on how to back up your configurations and data. See
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.0.0/Admin/Backupconfigurations
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.0.0/Indexer/Backupindexeddata
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.0.0/Admin/BackupKVstore

You should note that hot buckets cannot be backed up because they are being written to continually.

Is your goal to run Splunk on the Windows server in the event the CentOS server fails? If so, there may be other considerations such as file path differences.

during the process I could not directly copy the file alive.token:
1: I compressed all the data and moved to the backup server
2: I use rsync for backups
