Distributed Monitoring Console "Apply Changes" is not taking effect

Hi There,

After making changes such as editing server roles, adding search peers in Distributed Monitoring console I am clicking on "Apply Changes"for changes to take effect.

I am getting message "Loading ... Please wait while we save your configuration." After that I am not getting message like "Success" . And Changes are also not taking effect. "assests.csv" file is not getting updated.

Let me know how to fix this issue.

Have you tried refreshing the page or using a different browser?

Tried Refreshing, Restarted and also did "Reset Settings" and configured it again. But no luck!!

assets.csv is not getting populated in any of these scenarios.

Is it possible that splunk has run earlier as roof and now e.g. user splunk, without changing ownership of files?
