splunk-sdk-javascript services.js examples: is there more documentation someplace?

I've been using the @examples in splunk-sdk-javascript/lib/service.js and have used many of them successfully. Some however, are giving me a problem, such as dispatching a saved search. To generalize, the options lists are not available except for the few that are shown in the examples. Where does one find these?

For example, on line 1472 the dispatch: shows {force:dispatch: false}. This throws a syntax error.

Another example, on line 3021 for the search: options it shows {id: "myjob_123"}, but what other options are available in the Javascript SDK?
