How to create button on dashboard which execute shell script?

I need to create a button on dashboard which take input from text box and pass those parameters to shell script and execute that shell script.

Can't do this with out of the box Splunk, not what it was designed for. You would need to write a custom web page and and associated script. You could incorporate Splunk using one of the SDKs.
